What are the .CO Domain Restrictions ?

Violating rights of third parties, illegal activities, names against moral, ethnic and government standards and any names contrary to the government of Colombia are prohibited.

No Domain Approved may be used for the following purposes: (a) “typosquatting” (cybersquatting based on typographical errors) or other deceptive or manipulative purposes intended to benefit from misdirected traffic or unintentional on the Internet or in any case, infringe the rights of others, (b) pornography, (c) bet, (d) discredit or belittle the top level domain. CO, the Government of Colombia (including all its agencies), the Administrator, its affiliates or its owners, officers, directors, members, managers, employees, agents, service providers and representatives, and / or (e) promote violence or intolerance (racial, religious, sexual, gender, creed or political affiliation) and / or illegal activities of any kind.

It is the sole responsibility of each Applicant to verify their rights or other rights over any domain Approved. Therefore, all Applicants acknowledge and agree to be solely responsible for any conduct in violation of the rights of others or any other liability for your license, use and / or Registration of any domain name. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Administrator reserves the right to terminate any Program Agreement and the license granted by it if it determines that it (and / or use of domain. Corresponding CO) infringes the intellectual property rights or any other nature of a natural person or legal entity. With the mere filing of the Application, each Applicant acknowledges and accepts that participation in the Application Process and this program does not confer any right or priority with respect to any domain. CO, regardless of any intellectual property right or other nature that the applicant may have.
